ABOUT

Hi, welcome to my website.

This website provides a service that embodies change for those who are ready to take the first steps towards being responsible for their own lives and wanting to get through present difficulties. The aim is to make counselling and coaching online, a haven to talk through any problems and teach you how to regulate or manage emotions with 'tried and tested' strategies and techniques.

Experience

For 24 years, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals from different social, and cultural backgrounds with mental health issues, learning disabilities and autism. The journey to becoming a counsellor, mental health specialist and emotional resilience mentor, began out of an interest in psychology. That interest led me to study at Goldsmiths University of London, culminating in a Masters degree. Along the way, I worked at Victim Support, in their helpline section and as an outreach worker, as a counsellor at Cruse Bereavement Care and as a counsellor at doctors' surgery, and again as a smoking cessation counsellor for Quit Ltd.

To branch out into the education sector I obtained a teaching qualification at Southwark College in London, where I also worked for five years as a one-to-one English tutor within the disability department, and for students with English as a second language. Began a PhD in Mental Health but did not complete it, as 'life got in the way' however received a certificate in health research for what was achieved, and fully intend to complete the PhD in the coming years.

If you refused consent, then I would be forced to take action to ensure your safety.
